Family-owned since 1948 — steaks, fresh seafood, daily live piano, and a detached private space for celebrations.
Bob Heilman's Beachcomber has been the dress-up dinner on Clearwater Beach since 1948 — a family-owned institution ("Generations of Flavor. Made to Order.") serving fresh-caught seafood, premium steaks, an award-winning wine list, and classic cocktails to live piano, daily. Mandalay Avenue has changed around it for seventy-five years; the Beachcomber has not blinked.
It's also the beach's most natural rehearsal-dinner room: a dedicated special-events operation with private and semi-private spaces plus Bobby's Bistro, a detached private venue the restaurant offers for everything from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. Capacities and menus come by inquiry — the events team follows up on the form — but the formula is proven nightly in the dining room.
